Join the ABA in Dallas for a first-of-its-kind conference!
Small businesses as well as multinational corporations face critical challenges in combating the AIDS pandemic - but there is an opportunity to explore the cutting-edge legal issues faced by people living with HIV/AIDS and the people around them, particularly in a global workforce.
The American Bar Association's national CLE conference, HIV/AIDS Law and Practice: From Local Client to Global Workforce, will offer a comprehensive "business track" on key linkages between employers, employees and HIV.
Ambassador Mark R. Dybul, U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator, will offer the keynote address during the conference while other topics will include:
- HIV in the Workplace: Global Demographics in 2008 and Beyond
- Employees with HIV: Are Your Clients Ready?
- Employer Obligations to HIV-positive Employees
- Labor/Management Collaborations: A Brave New World
- Immigrating, Traveling and Working Abroad with HIV
- Paying for HIV Care and Treatment: Everything an Employer Needs to Know
- Fighting HIV/AIDS: What is a Corporation's Responsibility?
