Description

Healthcare reform initiatives have resulted in an increase in the integration of physician owned ancillary businesses into hospitals and healthcare system. These types of acquisitions pose unique challenges to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This video download program addresses the regulatory and valuation issues faced in these types of acquisitions.

Our speakers provide an indepth analysis of the case of U.S. ex rel Singh v. Bradford Regional Medical Center (W.D. Pa. 2010) involving claims under the False Claims Act relating to a subleasing arrangement for a nuclear camera between a hospital and local physicians. The program will also examine the specific lessons to be learned from this case with respect to structuring and valuing these arrangements.
