Description

In today's world, the successful practice of law involves technology and using social media. But there are also ethical considerations to take into account. Personal and professional information is conveniently available with just a few keystrokes. An errant text or post made on personal time or in jest can snowball into unwanted inquiry, disciplinary action, or more.

Today's practitioner has to have a firm grasp on the ethical considerations that accompany social networking. This panel will discuss the impact of social networking and the resulting ethical issues it presents for municipalities, elected officials, and government lawyers.
