This publication sets forth the Standards that law schools must meet to obtain ABA approval. The 2011-2012 edition reflects all changes and revisions approved at August 2011 annual meeting of the Section's Council.

The Council and the Accreditation Committee of the ABA Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar are authorized by the U.S. Department of Education to be the recognized national agency for the accreditation of J.D. programs in the United States.
