Abstract

Today, nearly half the states have implemented eRecording systems for generating and recording electronic real estate documents, thereby enabling the automation of an otherwise paper- and labor-intensive process. The electronic recording of real estate documents is gaining momentum because it helps increase accuracy, reduce costs, and reduce turnaround on time-sensitive transactions.
