Abstract

While looking after the legal needs of elderly clients, attorneys are often confronted with unscrupulous caregivers and family members who hope to profit from their frailty or misfortune. In fact, caregiver exploitation has become the most significant issue facing elderly clients today, and several state legislatures have responded by promulgating laws to protect these vulnerable individuals.
