Social media has become a part of our daily lives. As such, it is important that we look to the beneficial uses of social media for our clients.
The panelists will
  • discuss the use of social media as discovery tools through the use of fact patterns
  • explore whether the use of such discovery is ethically permitted under recent state and federal case law
  • analyze the Model Rules of Professional Conduct, including:
    o Rules 1.2, 3.4, 4.1, 4.2, 4.4, and 8.4, and
  • share various State ethics opinions.
