Description
We will discuss the tax issues relating to technology transactions, including a survey of the basic rules relating to technology development as well as tax planning tips.
This video download program will address state tax considerations in technology transactions, structuring technology transfers to result in capital gains rates to sellers, minimizing withholding taxes in foreign transactions, the effect of sales taxes, retaining favorable tax treatment for inventors, research and development partnerships, and the use of international IP holding companies.
The video download program will also address recent developments in the taxation of technology.
