Topics will include:
Non-engagement letters
Engagement letters- Limited scope engagements
- Fees and expenses (third-party payment, contingency fee)
- Conflicts information and waivers
Writings during the representation- Status updates
- Periodic billing/expense statements
- Confirmation letters concerning the client's agreement/refusal to settle
- Settlement documents/releases
- Settlement statement for cases done on contingency
- Closing letters
Disengagement letters (whether voluntary or involuntary). This audio CD-ROM includes full program audio and PDF course materials.
