The program is designed to address, in general terms how the lawyer, as counselor, needs to analyze the client's needs and propose a plan to achieve that outcome. As lawyers practicing in the area, we have seen too many cases in which the proceeding was poorly timed or need not have been filed at all. In other words the case was filed at the wrong time, in the wrong chapter, and/or for the wrong reasons. The result is often excess litigation, cost, and frustrations for both lawyers and clients. The shoot from the hip approach leads to other problems which we believe would not exist if some initial thought was given to the client's goals and to the process that each filing starts.
In this program you will learn: - How to decide if your client should file
- The strategies on how to complete the schedules-what are we disclosing, and how?
- About the claiming exemptions after Taylor and Schwabe
