Program Description

This program will review recent significant bankruptcy preference actions, jurisdiction, venue, the evolution of preference action defense tactics and case management strategies. Our distinguished faculty will offer insights from both the creditor and debtor perspectives. In addition, the discussion will include guidance and recommendations on the use of expert witnesses in evaluating industry standards, calculations of new value and the history of payments between the parties as well as other considerations for the retention and use of experts.
