This panel will focus on the enormous challenges in bringing
cross border litigation in the EU and Asia given the limitations
on discovery rules outside the U.S. and the hurdles in getting information under data privacy rules.
In addition, the panel will explore the difference in the definitions of privilege and confidentiality and the practical implications of the Akzo decision of the European Commission of Justice (ECJ).
