Program Description
Many general practitioners have little exposure to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) federal registration process. Practitioners who provide any legal advice to businesses should understand this important area, which could involve significant assets. This overview course of basic fundamentals from the perspective of in-house and outside counsel will address the trademark application process and aspects of USPTO prosecution, along with tactics for issue spotting around activities that could impact clients' intellectual property business assets.
