Who We Are




The mission of the Government Affairs Committee is to provide informational resources and a forum for the exchange of ideas regarding substantive areas of policy and the regulation of the profession for federal, state and provincial lobbyists and government affairs practioners, both in-house and in private practice.

The GAP Committee held a very successful CLE session during the Business Law Section Spring Meeting Emerging Issues for Investment Advisors Under the Dodd-Frank Act and State Securities Laws
