About the Nonprofit Lawyer Awards Subcommittee

The Nonprofit Lawyer Awards Subcommittee is established to coordinate the process of nominating and selecting qualified individuals for the annual Nonprofit Lawyer Awards of the Nonprofit Organizations Committee of the ABA Business Law Section.

The Outstanding Nonprofit Lawyer awards are given annually to attorneys who have made outstanding contributions to the nonprofit sector and/or the development of nonprofit law. The Committee is particularly interested in nominees whose accomplishments are primarily in providing legal services and counseling to nonprofit entities as clients, rather than in representation of individuals.
