International Trade Committee

About the Committee

The International Trade Committee follows all international trade proceedings and trade policy, with a focus on import regulation issues such as antidumping duties, countervailing duties, and safeguards relief. Many members of this committee have also become active in the growing Section 337 practice that addresses imported product intellectual property violations. The committee also focuses on trade agreements by monitoring congressional approval processes, WTO and NAFTA dispute settlement, the effect of trade laws on the environment and labor, and the differences between trade laws and standards across nations.
