Environmental Committee


Welcome to the website of the Environmental Committee of the Land Use and Environmental Group. This Committee focuses on a wide range of environmental issues associated with the ownership, use, management, operation and financing of real estate. Areas of particular interest to the Committee members include environmental land use law at the federal, state and local level, including CERCLA, RCRA, brownfields statutes, regulation of underground storage tanks and regulation of wetlands. The Committee also tracks developments in the areas of environmental due diligence, the drafting and negotiation of environmental provisions in real-estate transactional instruments, lender liability and environmental insurance.
