Public Service Opportunities

The International Environmental Law Committee is committed to serving the needs of the public by providing information and support for activities in the field of international environmental law and policy. In past years, this activity has included such projects as the International Environmental Law Moot Court Competition. The Committee is always exploring new opportunities to be of service and would welcome your ideas and suggestions. The Committee is exploring a number of different projects for 2003-2004 in consultation with the Section's Public Service Task Force, concentrating on the following areas:

  1. Educational Instruction in Schools
  2. Development of Model Regulations
  3. Public Education Pamphlets
  4. Pro Bono Services to Conservancy and Environmental Groups
  5. Assistance to Law School Clinical Programs

To propose a public service project for the Committee, or to participate in an ongoing project, please contact the Committee's Public Service Vice Chair.
