Our Spring Conference provides over 16 hours of CLE programming for you to choose from. Learn about new technology tools for your practice, enhance your courtroom skills, and discover critical information for your divorce clients who have special needs children. Noted speakers from across the country will be presenting at the CLE and plenary sessions. Sessions are listed below.

- The Power of Perception
Perception is a powerful force in family law cases. The perceptions of the parties, the children, the attorneys, the mental health professional and the court can significantly impact the resolution of the case. The clash of perceptions can send your case on an expensive downward spiral. This experienced panel will provide you with a multiplicity of examples of the power of perception and guide you through the mind field of factors that influence conflicted family law cases. - Courtroom Realities of Advocacy and EvidenceTo Admit or Not To Admit...That Is The Question
This high-energy panel will discuss preparing for the realities of family law litigation, including the strategy and efficacy of dealing with difficult evidentiary issues regularly presenting themselves in family court cases. The panel will also demonstrate contrasting methods of dealing with difficult evidentiary choices and how that strategic decision-making can be presented in the courtroom. - Parenting PlansThe How, Why and When...
The program will provide with the attendee with practical tips for the development and presentation of effective and workable parenting plans. The session will cover why and how of creating workable parenting plans; how to effectively present the parenting plan in court; and how to effectively explain the parameters of the plan so that the Court will adopt your plan.

Carmel Valley Wine Tasting Tour
Thursday 11:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m.$90 per person
This tour ventures into the heart of Carmel Valley’s
wine region, beginning with a one-hour tour of
beautiful Château Julien, then on to Durney, Georis,
and Talbott tasting room. You will enjoy a wonderful
lunch and wine sampling at Corkscrew Cafe.
The Cafe promises superb food and local wines in a
charming setting. Price includes transportation,
wine, lunch and gratuities. Tours not meeting the
minimum numbers 2 weeks prior to scheduled
departure are likely to be cancelled.
Monterey Bay Aquarium
Tickets can be bought at the Portola Plaza Hotel Concierge desk or at the hotel's front desk.
The tickets are valid for 2 days and you will receive a priority entrance into the Aquarium.
Tickets are $24.99 for adults and $15.95 for kids under 12.
