Who should attend the Section of International Law 2010 Spring Meeting?
As the premier gathering of international experts worldwide, the International Law Spring Meeting has sessions that would appeal to a broad range of audiences including:
What does my registration fee include?
Your registration fee includes access to all panel sessions and plenary sessions (space permitting), the Tuesday WIN/WING Reception at the Grand Hyatt, and Friday, and YIN After-Hours Reception. All other events require ticket purchase for entrance. Tickets for ticketed events will be an option on the registration form as well as being available for purchase onsite pending space availability.
Is there a group discount available?
Group discounts are available for multiple registrations from law firms and corporate legal departments submitted prior to March 31, 2010. You will receive 50% off the highest registration fee for each additional registrant after the fifth full paying registrant, as long as all register at the same time.

Can I register for the meeting onsite?
Yes, you may register onsite at the meeting. However, higher registration fees will apply for onsite registrations. We strongly encourage you to register in advance via the Section of International Law Spring Meeting website. By registering early, you will have a speedier check-in when you arrive at the meeting.
Will I receive a refund if I have to cancel my registration?
Refunds are available based on when you cancel. If you cancel on or before March 31st, 2010, you will be refunded your registration fee, less a $100 administrative fee to cover the cost of processing. No refunds will be available for cancellations made after March 31st, 2010 or for no-shows. Formal written requests for refunds may be submitted via email to Duane Propst at propstr@staff.abanet.org.
Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?
For registrations made on-line, confirmation of registration will be sent via email immediately.
For registrations made via fax or mail, please allow two weeks for processing; confirmation of registration will be sent via email immediately upon processing.
For registrations made with check payment via mail, please allow two weeks for processing; confirmation of registration will be sent via email immediately upon processing.

Will I receive a receipt for my registration?
Yes. You will receive two e-mails, a registration confirmation and a purchase receipt.
I have registered for the meeting but would like to make changes to my name on my badge. How do I do this?
Your meeting badge will be created using the name and affiliation information submitted in your registration. If you would like to change the information on your badge, you may do so onsite at the meeting registration desk.
Which hotel has a room block for this meeting? What are the rates?
The host hotel for the 2010 Spring Meeting is the Grand Hyatt New York located at 109 East 42nd Street (Park Avenue at Grand Central Station) in New York City. The Grand Hyatt New York has reserved a limited block of rooms for the group until March 23, 2010, at the special low per night rate of $229.00 plus taxes. You are encouraged to make your reservations early as availability in the group room block is not guaranteed if the inventory is consumed prior to the date noted above.

I am a student and would like to share a hotel room with another student to reduce costs. Any suggestions on how to arrange this?
The Section of International Law does not have the ability to coordinate housing for students. We suggest you network at your school and through other schools to find other students with whom to share housing.

What is the dress code for the Spring Meeting?
For the 2010 Spring Meeting, business casual and business attire are both appropriate. Note that the Thursday night Dinner/Dance Reception at The New York Public Library is black-tie optional.
Can I receive CLE credit for attending the International Law Spring Meeting?
The Section of International Law will provide both General and Ethics CLE Credit at the 2010 Spring Meeting.
