The host hotel for the 2010 Spring Meeting is the Grand Hyatt New York located at 109 East 42nd Street (Park Avenue at Grand Central Station) in New York City. The Grand Hyatt New York has reserved a limited block of rooms for the group until March 23, 2010, at the special low per night rate of $229.00 plus taxes. You are encouraged to make your reservations early as availability in the group room block is not guaranteed if the inventory is consumed prior to the date noted above.

Travel Arrangements

You are encouraged to make your airline reservations via the ABA Online Travel site where you automatically receive specially negotiated ABA airfare and car rental discounts from a variety of carriers. This site makes it easy to view and purchase low fare options including web fares. Simply visit www.abanet.org/travel to make your travel arrangements. If you have not used this site before, it takes only a few moments to establish a username and password allowing you to immediately book your reservations.

Travel by rail…
In an effort to provide you with various transportation options when planning your travel to New York, the Section has partnered with Amtrak for a special Convention Fare Discount which is in effect for the 2010 Spring Meeting. 

Amtrak is offering a 10% discount off the lowest available rail fare to New York, New York.  The valid travel dates are between April 10, 2010 and April 20, 2010.  To book your reservation, call Amtrak at 1-800-872-7245 or contact your local travel agent as the discount can not be used for tickets booked online.  Please be sure to refer to Convention Fare Code Number X28B-981 when making your reservation.  This offer is not valid on the Auto Train and Acela Service.  Fare is valid on Amtrak Regional for all departures seven days a week, except for holiday blackouts.  Offer valid with Sleepers, Business Class or First Class seats with payment of the full applicable accommodation charges.  Note that this discount can not be used in conjunction with any other discount offerings.
