Description: The University of Alaska Fairbanks is located in a spectacular setting 150 miles south of the Arctic Circle. It boasts the farthest north paralegal program in the nation. The program has a nearly 100% placement record for its roughly 15 graduates each year. Most paralegal courses are taught by adjunct instuctors who are lawyers practicing in the local community. In addition to academic excellence, the program focuses on other important skills required for success in the job market: good people skills, computer savvy, analytical skills, ability to prioritize, attention to details, dependability, reliability, integrity and honesty.
