Description: Central Pennsylvania College has offered an ABA approved
paralegal program since 1980. This program gives students actual
experience in legal research, drafting legal documents, interviewing
clients and witnesses and preparing cases for trial. Senior paralegal
students participate in a mock trial where they have an opportunity
to prepare and try a case from opening statements through direct
and cross examination of witnesses and closing arguments. In addition,
the internship places students in quality paralegal positions
which often lead to full-time jobs after graduation.

Description: Established in 1984
and ABA approved since 1989, the Paralegal Institute offeres a
10-course, university-based, non-credit program. (33 unit min.).
Concentrations are offered in civil litigation, estates, and corporate
law tracks, plus a general certificate. Five core courses plus
5 or 6 electives are required. Adjunct faculty is composed of
practicing attorneys and paralegals. The program offers Duquesne
Univ. Law Library and research instuctors, placement counseling
