Texas C-BAR and Texas RioGrande Legal Aid have partnered with the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to form the Legal Assistance to Microenterprise Project (LAMP). LAMP is designed to expand microenterprise opportunities in rural Texas communities. LAMP provides free legal services, training and resources for qualified low-income residents in 68 contiguous border counties to start or sustain a small business. LAMP provides legal aid through legal staff and through pro bono referrals to Texas C-BAR volunteer attorneys.
