* Frank Moran, the elected Local Bar Delegate for 2002 — 2004, will retire as executive director of the Boston Bar Association on November 1, 2002. The NABE by-laws require that a board member be a regular member, that is, one who is employed by a bar association. Therefore, as of May 31, Mr. Moran resigned his position. The Board will vote on and appoint a successor to fill this vacancy at its meeting on Tuesday, August 6, in Washington, D.C.

The Board of Directors requests that any NABE members from local bar associations interested in being considered for this position should write a letter to Diane O’Steen indicating his or her interest in this position. Please include a statement indicating the reason(s) for your interest in serving on the NABE Board of Directors.
