A reminder about your NABE dues

Dear Colleague,

Because you recognize the power of association, I am writing to encourage you to renew your membership in NABE. The power of association is a tremendous force in our lives, and membership in NABE provides you with a forum for developing and expanding your professional connections with people who do what you do.

In addition to connecting you with colleagues who share your challenges, each year NABE strives to enhance its programs and provide you with knowledge about the important issues facing bar associations and bar leaders, such as knowledge management and leadership development.

Looking ahead to the future, you will see:

  • The transformation of Bar Executive, the NABE quarterly newsletter, into a web-based, electronic newsletter
  • Three vibrant sections to become involved in: Administration & Finance (with the newly incorporated CLE subcommittee), Communications, and Government Relations
  • Mind stretching educational programs in Chicago and Philadelphia, focusing on rebuilding your bar association and leadership development.

These are just a few of the many benefits of membership. As a member, you can be assured that your needs are being defined and addressed on a continuous basis through a strong and committed Board of Directors, staff members, and our three active sections, publications and instant information sharing through our listservs.

Whatever your challenges or responsibilities, NABE has a place for you. Committee opportunities? Publications? CLE? Meeting Planning? NABE has forums that cover them all. Having trouble finding your place in the organization? Let us know. We’ll work with you to help you find your niche, and at the same time share resources that will make you an even more valuable bar executive.

Please return your dues forms to be guaranteed to continue to receive meeting discounts and other fabulous benefits of NABE membership. It’s simple, return the enclosed form with your dues to commit — or recommit — yourself to all that NABE has to offer. If you have any questions, please call Maria Johnson, Membership Coordinator, at 312-988-5360 or johnsonmaria@staff.abanet.org.

Or, if you’d like to talk about your membership in NABE, please call me at 800-444-9404, ext. 6104. I’m available to you through the power of association.

Sincerely,

Betty J. Braden
