Section Meetings

Experience has shown that ABA Section of Taxation Meetings are a very rich source of information about tax law. At our Section Meetings, attendees have the opportunity to:

• Attend CLE programs and committee meetings to gain maximum exposure to cutting-edge tax developments.
• Obtain information about tax issues and specific tax related topics.
• Discuss the latest tax policy initiatives, regulations, legislative forecasts, and planning ideas.
• Establish new beneficial contacts and acquire names of colleagues to network with.

Section of Taxation meetings provide great networking opportunities. Developing your own network of people in your profession should be an ongoing process. Your personal career network should be of value throughout your working life.

As a component of its communication and outreach efforts, the IRS is conducting a series of three-day tax forums across the nation this summer. Join tax professionals from across the country for the latest tax law information, hands-on workshops, networking opportunities, and exhibits of the latest tax products and financial services to improve your business. Classes are taught by subject-matter experts from the IRS, the ABA Section of Taxation, and other leading national organizations.
