About this Product

If you are currently representing survivors of domestic violence, it is likely that some of your clients are LGBT, whether or not they are "out" to you. Likewise, if you represent LGBT clients, it is likely that some of them are enduring violence and/or coercion in their relationships. In many ways, domestic violence committed in LGBT relationships is similar to domestic violence committed in heterosexual relationships, but it is also different in some important ways. This tool provides an understanding of these differences in order to foster ethical and effective representation to LGBT victims of domestic violence.
