About the eBook Version

A new guide for white collar criminal and civil enforcement practices--

U.S. criminal and civil law authorities have increasingly sought to leverage their resources by working together on joint investigations. The ABA Criminal Justice Section responded to this growing trend by creating the Parallel Proceedings Task Force to address the issue. This Task Force report examines the nature of parallel proceedings, discusses governing legal principles and proposes key guiding principles. Appendices also address parallel proceedings in the international context and republish the latest Department of Justice Guidance in the area.
